West Herzegovina Canton Police Organises Roundtable Within Anti-Corruption Campaign

Ljubuski, 13. January 2010 - Within the ongoing nationwide Anti-Corruption Campaign, officers of the Ljubuski Police Administration were distributing promotional material to the students of ‘Marko Marulic’ elementary school yesterday morning. The students were given a brochure where all police agencies appeal to citizens to report perpetrators of any crime, in particular corruption cases.
“Only with your help we can bring to justice all those who have committed crimes. Only together can we make our living space become better and safer, to the benefit of us all,” stresses the brochure. The students also got stickers, notebooks and coasters with the ‘Krimolovci’ logo.
Spokesperson for West Herzegovina Canton MoI, Damir Cutura, said that besides elementary and secondary school students, the campaign material will also be distributed to other citizens of Ljubuski. He further announced that a roundtable will be organised on Friday, 15th of January in cooperation with Radio Grude, where the legal, criminal and social aspects of corruption will be discussed as well as the mechanisms to fight it.
The anti-corruption campaign dubbed “Korrupcija Ti Usima Sve” (Corruption takes everything) is a joint project of the EU Police Mission and the Law Enforcement Agencies of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
