EUPM and BiH law enforcement agencies launched a joint campaign to raise awareness about police accountability on 15 March 2007.

Under the slogan Your Security, Our Obligation, this campaign aims to strengthen cooperation between citizens and police. Police officers throughout the country prompt citizens to share information with them by calling the country-wide ‘122’ number.

They explain their competences and responsibilities, and remind citizens of the existing transparency and accountability mechanisms within each law enforcement agency. The campaign also draws citizens’ attention to their own responsibility with regard to the fight against corruption.
